1960s

HCI was Incorporated in the State of MInnesota. Launched the first and only 6 person mobile auditory testing facility of its kind in the country. Used manually operated audiometers along with the first mechanized tracing audiometers. Continued development of proprietary software supported by extensive research findings.

1970s

HCI purchased by Mr. Dale Drollinger. Launched the first and only 10 person mobile auditory testing facility of its kind in the country. Upgraded their mobile fleet to accommodate automatic, self-recording audiometers with graphical readouts. Further developed computerized reporting capabilities of test data.

The OSHA Occupational Noise Exposure; Hearing Conservation Amendment 29 CFR 1910.95 became effective. HCI experienced significant growth. HCI provides vision testing services to their clients. Increases and upgraded their mobile fleet to accommodate microprocessor audiometers with digital readouts.

These Benson precision instruments revolutionize audiometry. HCI expands services to provide Respirator Fit and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) to their clients, using the first portable Spirometers. Reincorporates in Illinois as Health Conservation, Inc.

This fully integrated system in conjunction with wireless technology provides seamless linkage between users anywhere anytime. Enhanced web cababilites enable clients access to their records, reports, and information through the use of the internet. In 2006 HCI relocated to its new facility where its staff is better equiped than ever to keep moving you forward.
